Would you be willing to accept a guest post from me?
Absolutely.
Is there a particular article you would like me to submit? Did you want me to submit the one I wrote on my site about our day together?
-J
Could you write about your experience surfing at Smiths Beach? I’d love to hear about it in more detail than your Phillip Island post. I can also post it to Island’s Facebook page.
Sounds great! I will send it along!
Excellent.
Great, I’ve sent you the article.
I will upload it after the 4th of June.
Looking forward to seeing it. Remind me on the 4th of June (p.s. I will be in CUBA then!)
Jess! I am so jealous of all your adventures! I want to be in Cuba.
I’ll try and post it a bit earlier.
Aww, don’t be jealous. Just keep adding things to your bucket list.
It’s hard not to be. With the new Australian Budget, my uni fees are probably going to take 20 years to pay off! 😦
You will do it sooner than you think! I know when I finished 5 years of university I thought I would never pay those years off!
Hi! I have been reading your blog lately! I really love it, super inspirational 🙂 Keep up the great work! Also, would you mind checking out my website: http://www.alanablanchardsource.weebly.com? I noticed you mentioned Alana Blanchard in a recent post of yours, and thought that you could mention my site on your blog if you end up liking it. Alana is my idol!
XOXO, Madison
I have written about Alana quite a bit. She’s a lovely person that doesn’t deserve the objectification she receives.
Looks like a great dedication to Alana. Well done.
By the way, check out the episode of Surfer Girl when the girls are in Torquay. I’m in it!

Hi there! *waves*
I’ve just read every post from the start of your blog because it’s so inspiring. I’ve had the burning desire to surf for such a long time and always put it off because of my size, but recently I’ve become sick of not doing what calls to me so fiercely! I’ve been watching surfing footage and loving it ever since I saw Endless Summer II as a 12 year old! I used to be out bodyboarding and swimming at the beach all the time, but life and depression got in the way and as an adult I’ve barely been to the beach, which is a realisation that makes me incredibly sad. I’m getting myself a good solid longboard/minimal to start with and I just can’t wait to get out there and do it. I’m so grateful that you’ve shared your journey online and it really feels like fate that I stumbled upon it the same week as I started looking for my first board!
Thanks from the bottom of my heart

It is so inspiring for me to read your story too! I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one that was stopping herself from enjoying life and doing something I’d always wanted to do! Get out there and enjoy the waves. Surfing has been the most rewarding skill I have tried to attain. I may not be very good at it yet but it brings me peace to just be out in the water. Enjoy the surf and enjoy your life xxxoooxoxox
